Bret Bryce has practiced law for more than fifteen years, representing individuals and families in matters where the stakes are personal: constitutional rights, serious injury, criminal accusation, and the protection of what a lifetime builds. He has tried cases to verdict before both judge and jury — winning bench and jury trials alike — prevailed in contested evidentiary hearings from protective orders to guardianships, handled hundreds of matters across Utah’s courts, and argued before the Utah Court of Appeals.
His practice combines courtroom litigation — including federal civil rights actions and criminal defense — with the counseling disciplines of estate planning, asset protection, and probate. Before founding Bryce Law P.L.L.C., he practiced with Bryce & Associates in Knoxville, Tennessee, and as a law student spent a summer in Entebbe, Uganda, where he helped write more than 250 wills for AIDS patients seeking to protect their children.
